CS даже близко нет той зрелищности в матчах, чистый казуал)) но отдаю должное, что реакция и уровень игры у современных игроков намного превосходят игроков старой школы. Вот их бы да в старые проекты, типа quake 3 или unreal tournament, то матчи превратились бы в феерию экшена!

Every time I died in Quake, it was because I sucked. It was never because of some bullshit-ass broken weapon. It was never because the idiot who shot me was 25 levels higher than me. It was never because of some stupid perk. It was never about some shady microtransaction. It was because this dude herded me like sheep into eating a rocket and then blew my nuts off with a railgun. Which was humiliating, but fair. And the fairness atoned for my god-awfulness. Every once in a while, I'd get my own kill, and that was very rewarding. Because that kill was mine, and I earned it.

can someone please help me with q2 console? I want to be able to move and shoot as smoothly as my q3 config but I cant find any source with the console commands that I need. to change the enemy color, to be able to do smooth strafes, mouse config, etc... any help or links will be much appreciated.

I was so addicted to q3a i can feel that microcorrection strafejumping past a wall. This looks way too detailed I played in r_picmip 5 and modded my CRT driver INF to 125Hz to get the max strafejump height. Gosh what a finale.
